OldCarGoOldcargo is a private initiative concerning awareness in the making and use of energy. The goal is to create local energy-independent enclaves in remote areas. We only examine alternatives for low energy purposes as the only reasonable option to have any future, we work ultra small scale and full force environment-friendly
To start we focus on one town in Mongolia, Darkhan. Here we set up a well thought project; the pressing of locally grown rapeseed into oil, partly to use as fuel. It combines three disciplines; agriculture, aid and art. Oldcargo also is a reaction to the haunt for old diesel cars in the west. It was established in 2005 by Jeroen Nooter and Sara Nuytemans driving a truck run with vegetable oil to Mongolia, helped by many people in the east and in the west. | ||
